Comments:

Despite the bad band conds we were able to claim a new Fieldday QSO record!
As we expected 20m to be the best band, we decided to put up a 2nd Yagi for that band onto the same tower, which really was a good idea.

With the help of the ufb portable tower from OE9MON the Yagis gained some extra hight and so we had kind of a DX antenna and consequently worked more US on 20 than ever before!
My fears that we would loose a lot of countries on the lowbands if we didn´t switch over to 40/80 were unfounded. We had lost some mults on 80, yes, but these were compensated by nice SA-mults on 20m and the fun working QSOs instead of digging out mults on 80 :-)

Thanks to OE9MON and OE8KDK for strengthening our FD-team and working the nice stateside pileup on saturday evening, DB2CH, DG4BUL, DF5UL for helping with the antennas and DL1IAO to travel to Scheidegg every year!

See you again in 2008!
